St. Jude Children’s Hospital Honored with Magnet Designation

As the president and owner of Greenbank Inc. in Fort Morgan, Colorado, Milton Greenbank oversees grain machine manufacturing and grain cleaning operations across several states. Outside of work, Milton Greenbank supports the charitable initiatives of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Recently, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital became the third medical center in Tennessee to achieve the prestigious Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association. The ANCC has awarded this special recognition to only seven percent of hospitals in the country. For years, the Magnet Recognition Program has aimed to acknowledge hospitals and medical centers that exhibit excellence in nursing and patient care. In general, Magnet recipients also have low mortality and medical complication rates among patients.

St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital joins the University of Tennessee Medical Center and Vanderbilt University hospitals on ANCC’s distinguished list. In addition to providing yearly progress reports to the center, Magnet recipients must undergo reassessment every four years to maintain its national recognition.
